Back in Black is filled with hot fighters, strong-willed women, romance and quite a bit of action.

Back in Black was like time-travel for me, as I have read all Foster’s Ultimate stories, and the SBC Fighters series include some characters that show up there as well. Gillian and Drew were both great characters, and I loved the chemistry between them. However, there was another couple that started their romance as well, Brett and Audrey, and the fact that I had to follow two couples instead of just one made me feel like I didn’t really get fully invested in either of them. Don’t take me wrong – all four characters were great, and I enjoyed their interactions as well as the way they evolved throughout the story.

There was a lot of tension in Back in Black, both because Drew, the president and face of the SBC was told he needed to reign in his antics and got Gillian as a publicist and sitter. Also because a group of women were protesting very loudly against the SBC because they found MMA to be a far too violent sport, and that it should be banned. Of course, part of the intrigue was that Audrey was the founder of that group, but she didn’t know Brett was one of the fighters when they first met.

The story is quite fast paced, and there is a bit of mystery mixed in with the romance and the hotness. Of course, the writing is really good, and the flow of the story was great. And as always, Foster knows how to make the sexy scenes, well, sexy. Written in third person past tense, I got drawn into the story from the start, and I really enjoyed the ride.

I've bought too many Lori Foster books because I'm running out of descriptive phrases without repeating myself. Such a great writer. Can't wait for her next book.
Dew Black is another strong part if the SBC group in Lori Fosters imagination. Bringing in brief glimpses of the former books, Lori always shows a sense of humor along with a familiar story line. Keep them coming.
Great addition to the series and of course you want to know how the boss gets involved with his lady. The author does not disappoint with this steamy drama.
I enjoyed the story line. I figured out "who done it" early, but it was still a captivating book for me. I love Lori Foster books. They're like potato chips...you can't just have one.
Lori Foster has always been a favorite, this book was great as well,glad I be purchased, started my collection of her books.
Great wrap up to the SBC series. Getting to know Drew Black was awesome. I really enjoyed the secondary romance between Brett and Audrey. Brett's background is a good way to bring attention to the plight of way to many kids in today's world. The humor and drama are perfectly balanced and the bedroom scenes are hot, hot, hot! I would recommend this story to any adult reader who enjoys sexy heroes and strong heroines.
Just thinking about reading a Lori Foster book makes me stupid happy. To actually get a chance to finally sit down and read one cover to cover; I don't know what's happier than "stupid happy", but that's me right now. Drew and Gillian and Brett and Audrey were all perfect and even after reading this book for the fifth time now, I still find more and more reasons to Love it.
I would highly recommend.
