This is an inspiring book of hope despite the negative criticism from some of these reviews. I'm reading it for the THIRD time and it will not be my last. Yes that's right the same message over and over and over and over from the SAME book. I'm also reading the Bible for the first time from beginning to end.

Christians wake up and smell the coffee and realize that it's not always about you. Believers are supposed to know better. What a bad example to set for people who do not know God. Why would they want to with the way some Christians act to turn them off?

We know because we've been turned off by some Christians for years. We still love Jesus and know it's not Him doing this. Just because someone thinks they are saved and they go to church doesn't mean they are following in Christ foot steps. In fact, most Christians are more like the Pharisees who criticized Jesus.

Someone fallen or lost may read this book for the very first time and come to accept and know Jesus as their savior and even more importantly go on to reach others. Or they may read one of these negative reviews and choose not to read it and remain lost forever. What does God think about that? Look it up in the Bible and find out.

Shame on those, especially Christians, for being so critical of a man who is a vessel for Christ and not God himself. There was only one who was perfect and I have not seen Him walking on water lately.

At least Joel is doing something to reach out to inspire people to come to accept and know Christ and know what a BIG God we have. It's about the 'message' not the book having some of the same stories as his other books.

What are some Christians actually doing besides being critical, downgrading people, thinking only of themselves and how they bought a book that has the same message as all Joel's other book's?

Let's all look beyond the forest. Open our eyes to the message and pray that God will use us to reach others who are lost instead of thinking how much was wasted on buying the book.

Read it more than once and then pray that the message from God will actually sink in to help you reach out to inspire others like Joel is doing!

Joel we appreciate you and Victoria and all you do to spread the word to a lost world and pray that God will forgive those who are critical and that His message will be revealed to them.

My husband and I have gone through a really really tough year with no work and huge bills to pay and are now facing even tougher times financially. I saw Joel on tv one sunday and his service brought me to tears and I felt very compelled to buy this book for my husband and I. Let me just tell u this..this book is a GIFT FROM GOD. God most definately speaks through Joel in this book. Every word, every sentance, every paragraph is INCREDIBLE. We have both been battling feelings of depression and doubt and defeat, but Joels words can pull us out of it EVERY SINGLE TIME and give us the strength and the FAITH to move foward. Every Morning, before I do ANYTHING...I read from this book and it infuses me with so much HOPE and FAITH it is unbelieveable. Joel Osteen is truely gifted with God's word. I dont think i could make it through without this book and I HIGHLY recommend it to ANYONE - it is unbelievable!
I just love Joel Osteen. I don't care for the sound of his voice but his words of wisdom, encouragement and practical use of the scriptures are so effective. Another great book. It's your time is one of my favorites. I first read the book from the library and had to have my own copy to make my highlights and references. It's My Time! If you don't believe this all the postive words can be prayed and spoken over you and it won't mean a thing. You must believe, you must exercise your faith.

This will be my best year yet. Although, it began with struggles I never thought I'd survive! Thank you. I can't wait to write in on Dec 31,2016 and tell of my testimony!

It puts faith back up right where it should belong in our heart. So many negative things outside. Cleanse yourself and get reminded by this book that we are anchored in the unfailling word of God. This makes me reached out for my bible more and more. Thanks for leading me Joel
This book has really changed my life. I am currently enduring a transition in my life for the best, and I don't think I would have had the level of faith, strength, or courage that I have needed in order to pursue my dreams had it not been for this book. I thank God for Joel Osteen and his family, and for his faith to write these books.
Joel has outdone himself with the content of this book! Such faithful outlooks and attitudes are encouraged throughout! I found this in my local library, read through it and then proceeded to buy the book. I'm now reading it for the second time! Thank you, Joel!
I am an ordained minister. I was never a huge fan of Joel Osteen until I bought this book. After losing all of my retirement investments in the recent Great Recession, and being diagnosed with cancer, this book was a life-saver for me. If you are facing tough times, whether spiritually, financially, personally, or in your relationships, I highly recommend this book. And, by the way, after several operations and a collection of 15 identification wristbands from the hospital in less than three years, I am cancer free! PTL!
